Briefing // what it is

ZeroDay is an idle ARPG with a network subversion theme. You play as an underground operator building a hacking career in a fictional cyberpunk world — not the real one.

The game runs entirely through Discord slash commands. Your terminal is the chat: configure cyberdecks, assign consumable scripts, pick corporate targets, and watch Bits drip in while active runs progress in the background.

Progression is gear-driven. Loot drops from completed hacks. Brokers on the black market sell upgrades, endpoint access, and trade clearing — if you know who to trust.

Protocol // how it works

No install beyond Discord. Your first interaction creates an operator with starter equipment. From there:

    Initialize your operator

    Add ZeroDay to your Discord server and run /home to create your operator profile with a starter cyberdeck and scripts.

  2. 02

    Configure your loadout

    Mount scripts into cyberdeck slots. Tune your rig for the targets you plan to hit.

  3. 03

    Acquire a target

    Pick a corporate endpoint and start a hack. Bits stream while your run is active.

  4. 04

    Collect and repeat

    When the timer completes, loot resolves on your next interaction. Upgrade gear, unlock deeper endpoints, and run again.

Three megacorps dominate the public attack surface. Each runs different security postures and loot profiles. Deeper endpoints cost more to reach — and pay more when you break through.

Beyond direct hacking, an underground economy keeps operators supplied. Gear brokers move cyberdecks and scripts. Reputation brokers gate access to restricted corporate subnets. Traders clear deals through neutral intermediaries. Build relationships, manage your Bits, and stay ahead of corporate countermeasures.
