Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ZeroDay ("the game") and this website collect, use, and protect information.
Scope
This policy covers:
- The ZeroDay Discord bot and associated game services
- This marketing website (static pages only)
This website does not host gameplay, accounts, or login functionality.
Information we collect
We collect and store only the minimum information needed to operate ZeroDay. We do not sell personal information.
Through Discord (game)
When you interact with the ZeroDay bot, we receive information from Discord that is necessary to operate the game, including:
- Your Discord user ID
- Your Discord username and display name
- Server (guild) ID and context where commands are used
- Message and interaction metadata required to process slash commands and button interactions
We do not request privileged Discord gateway intents beyond what is required for slash commands.
Profiles created for other operators
We may initialize operator profiles for Discord users who:
- Interact with the ZeroDay bot directly, or
- Are invited into game features by another player — for example, relay boost invites, trade proposals, or similar social mechanics
If you invite another Discord user into a feature, you represent that you have their permission to do so. We create only the profile data required for that feature to function (such as linking the invite, relay relationship, or trade session). We do not use invited users' data for unrelated purposes.
Game data
We store gameplay data linked to your Discord user ID, including:
- Operator profile and progression
- Inventory, loadout, and equipment
- Active and completed hack state
- In-game currency (Bits) and transaction history within the game
- Broker reputation and shop interactions
- Relay, trade, and other feature state where you participate
This data is stored in a PostgreSQL database operated as part of the game backend.
Cross-server visibility
Your Discord display name or operator name may appear in cross-server features, such as random global events, leaderboards, or other shared game surfaces that aggregate operators across Discord servers. These features show only what is needed for the activity (for example, placement, score, or participation).
This website
This site is static. We do not operate user accounts, cookies for tracking, or forms that collect personal data on this domain.
Cloudflare Pages (our hosting provider) may process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and requested URLs for security and delivery purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the game
- Persist your operator progress and inventory
- Process in-game actions, social features, and prevent abuse
- Respond to support or legal requests
Data retention and deletion
Game data is retained while your operator account exists and as needed to operate the service. We may delete inactive accounts or associated data at our discretion, with reasonable notice where practicable.
Deletion requests
You may request account deletion or deletion of your personal information through the in-game Operator Options → Send feedback flow:
1. Open Options from your operator terminal in Discord 2. Choose Send feedback 3. Set visibility to Use my operator name (do not submit anonymously — we need your operator identity to verify that you own the account) 4. In your written feedback, clearly request account deletion or specify what personal data you want removed
We will verify ownership before processing deletion requests. You may also contact us at the email above if you cannot use the in-game flow.
Third-party services
We rely on third parties to operate ZeroDay:
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Discord | Platform for bot interactions and identity |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, CDN, and public asset delivery |
| Database hosting provider | Persistent game data storage |
Each third party operates under its own privacy terms.
Children
ZeroDay is intended for users who meet Discord's minimum age requirements (13 years or older, or higher where local law requires). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect stored data, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
