These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ZeroDay ("the game") and this website. By using ZeroDay, you agree to these Terms.

ZeroDay is a fictional idle game with a cyberpunk hacking theme. All corporations, networks, characters, and mechanics are works of fiction.

ZeroDay does not teach, enable, or encourage real-world hacking, unauthorized access, or any illegal activity. You must not use knowledge or tools from the game to attempt to compromise real systems.

ZeroDay runs as a Discord bot. Your use of Discord is subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We are not responsible for Discord's availability or policies.

You must meet Discord's minimum age requirements and be legally able to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.

ZeroDay is under active development. Features, balance, economy, availability, and data may change, be reset, or be discontinued without notice. We make no guarantee of uninterrupted service.

Bits and all in-game items are virtual goods with no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash or legal tender. We do not offer refunds for virtual currency or items except where required by applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Exploit bugs, automation, or unintended mechanics for unfair advantage
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload game systems
• Harass other players or operators
• Invite or involve other Discord users in game features without their permission
• Use the bot in violation of Discord's terms or applicable law
• Impersonate the operator or misrepresent affiliation with ZeroDay

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, with or without notice.

ZeroDay may include cross-server features — such as random global events, leaderboards, or other shared activities that aggregate operators across Discord servers. By participating, you acknowledge that your Discord display name or operator name may be visible to other players in those contexts, along with relevant gameplay information (such as scores, rankings, or event participation).

ZeroDay, including its name, lore, characters, mechanics, and visual assets, is owned by VoidFletcher. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the game for personal entertainment through Discord.

You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative commercial works from game assets without written permission.

ZeroDay and this website are provided strictly "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of loss of data or virtual goods.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VoidFletcher shall not be liable for any damages or losses of any kind arising from or related to your use of ZeroDay or this website, including direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, virtual goods, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of ZeroDay shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim (typically zero, as the game is free to play).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in that jurisdiction, where permitted by law.

We may modify these Terms at any time. The effective date above indicates the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
